Our story
Founded in 2010, Mediterranean Cup started with a simple idea: create a sports tournament for International Schools that maximises playing time and fun for the kids, minimises hassle and bureaucracy for the coaches and offers a tournament format giving the right level of football and some friendly international competition for all the teams attending.
What began as a single football tournament for middle school boys has grown into a multi-sport international platform, each year bringing thousands of young athletes to Italy from all around the globe – including a huge number of girls’ football teams, one of our proudest achievements!
We are enormously grateful to all the dedicated coaches who give up their free time and who work so hard with us to make all of this possible and to make it grow bigger every year!
