TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
Our football tournament for Primary Schools began in 2015 and was originally held in October – at the same time as the tournament for High Schools. However, as the number of younger teams grew every year, the tournament was given its own date and, since moving in 2024 to the third weekend of March, the tournament has grown even more and now averages around 50 teams every year!
This tournament is for u11s, playing 8-a-side. Teams are drawn into preliminary qualifying groups and play all other teams in their qualifying group. The top teams in each group then qualify for the final stages of the main tournament (‘Elite’ Bracket). Teams finishing in lower places qualify for the final stages of the ‘Champions’, ‘Europa’ or ‘Premier’ brackets.
